All about the Night Walk Tour.

The night tour is for those nature lovers who like insects, frogs, snakes, spiders, scorpions among other things, also at night you can observe impressive events such as the metamorphosis of crickets and cicadas, as well as the egg laying’s of frogs and the highways of the leaf cutter ants. Among the most common mammals we see at night are the Kinkajou, the possums, Raccoons, and sloths.

During the night the singing of frogs and insects form a natural symphony illuminated with the flicker of fireflies, which arouse interest even the most distracted.

The meeting point is the office of Surcos Tours at 5:45 pm, from there you will travel to the place to start walking as soon as it gets dark. The tour has a duration of two hours and it takes 15 minutes to get to the place, if it were in the wet season it is recommended to use a raincoat and plastic bags to protect the photographic equipment.

Due to the climatic conditions in CR they are highly variable in the dry season, tennis or low closed shoes are recommended. In rainy season rubber boots.

Of course, these walks are short and quite accessible areas.
