Corcovado National Park is one of the largest in Costa RIca, it houses the best population of scarlet macaws, more than 300 species of birds, 5 species of cats, 2 species of sloths, 4 species of monkeys, both species of Peccaries, as well as several endemic species of birds. and plants. It was created in 1975 and since then hunting was banned, for that reason the animals are not afraid and let tourists get closer without having to run away. The park has 6 ranger stations of which 4 are open to tourists.

  1. Itinerary Activities

    The boat will pick you up at 6 am at Agujitas beach in Drake Bay to transfer you to San Pedrillo Station. The boat ride lasts approximately 30 minutes.

    You will first enter a platform to receive a talk and use the restrooms. Then you will start the walk in search of animals such as monkeys, coatis, agoutis, tapir, among others, the trails are flat and very scenic. Then you will take a break at the station for 40 minutes to drink water accompanied by some fruits. you will walk along the path until we reach the waterfall where you can cool off and enjoy with the family for around 1 hour.

    You will continue making a journey near the beach to observe some crocodiles. We will return by boat to Drake Bay around 1 pm

    It is a mystical and incomparable experience


You can but you have to remember that access is by boat and depending on the sea conditions it can be difficult when getting on or off the boat, the trails are flat and short

By park regulations, energy bars, mixed seeds, nuts are allowed. fruits, cookies, water and soft drinks. Alcohol is not allowed.
