      MEETING POINT: Monar Bakery
      MEETING TIME: 5:00am

The guide will meet you at Monar Bakery to take the transport together to Carate. You will have 15 minutes to have breakfast and I highly recommend you buy something to go for lunch and maybe some snack for the hike.

The drive to Carate lasts approximately two hours with some stops on the way to see wildlife! Once in Carate, you will walk for an hour until you get to La Leona Station; there, you will have 10 minutes to sign the visitor’s book, use the restroom, refill your water bottles and then start the hike to Sirena station.

The walking tour is about 7-9 hours on a flat trail parallel to the beach. The pace of the hike will depend on the tides since you have to cross beaches and rivers.

On the second day you get up very early at 4:30am to start walking at 5:00am, the idea is to see as many animals as possible but also to listen to the forest awakening. You will return at about 7:00am for breakfast. At 8:00am you will walk again, and at 11:00 am you will return for lunch. After a 2-hour break, you will walk again and return before 6:00pm, hopefully to a beautiful sunset.

On the last day, you will explore other interesting and different paths or you can just relax on the beach; then around 11:30 am you will return to the station for your luggage and walk to the beach to catch the boat at 12:30 pm to go to Drake Bay. This trip takes about an hour and 20 minutes. You will arrive at Drake Bay at around 2:15 pm.
