For this reason, this document provides our clients with the protocol to follow while in our central offices in Puerto Jiménez.
These protocols are expected of our staff as well as our clients.

Provisions for Administrative Personnel
Provisions for Administrative Personnel (FRONT) of The Tourist Sector:
On a daily basis we will conduct a review to monitor the health status of each staff member using a
thermometer to help us determine if anyone has a fever or if any additional related symptoms
At the entrance of the building there is a book for you to write down your name, passport number and time of admission (please bring your own pen).
After clients leave our facilities, the Surcos Tours staff will immediately disinfect the area and then will allow more people to enter. (The door handles, desk, dataphone and plastic chairs will be disinfected in addition to other surfaces as necessary).
Our offices have signs on display to remind our clients of the correct way to sneeze, wash hands, etc., please pay attention to them.
We also have disposable paper towels and liquid soap for hand washing, and hand sanitizer in different locations in the building for the use of our clients and staff.
The use of a mask (that covers mouth and nose) inside the facilities is mandatory, we appreciate you bringing your own mask. If you do not have a mask, please let us know so we can provide you with one.
If any of our clients or staff should present symptoms, we will immediately contact the health authorities and proceed to evacuate this person and follow the corresponding protocols. We appreciate the understanding and collaboration of the impacted individual.

General provisions for Non-Administrative Personnel (BACK) of The Tourist Sector Provisions on The Use of Common Spaces
Our staff will welcome each client in our facilities and we ask that all guests practice social
distancing, allowing 6 feet/1.8 meters between guests, which is already marked in our facility, for
the safety of both our staff and our guests.
Surcos Tours does not allow anyone to enter our offices without an appointment, this avoids crowds in our building.
Only bubbles of 2 to 4 people per group and each with their own mask will be allowed in the building. If clients come alone, only 2 people are allowed inside the office in the waiting room and 4 people in reception.
Please use the entrance on the side of the building at the back, we appreciate you then proceeding immediately to the disinfection area before entering the building.
Once you have finished your paperwork, you must go out the front door to avoid contact between visitors.
