How To Travel Safely To Corcovado National Park
- Bring enough water: at least 2 liters per person per day. The park is hot and humid, and there are no refilling stations, so you will need to bring water.
- Pack sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses to protect you from the sun. The sun is strong, and proper protection will help prevent sunburn and heat exhaustion.
- Bring a basic first aid kit and any personal medications. The park is remote, so it is important to be prepared for minor injuries or medical needs.
- Wear lightweight, quick-drying clothing and sturdy hiking boots. Comfortable, breathable clothing will keep you cool and protected.
- Don't forget insect repellent: the park has many mosquitoes. Using repellent and wearing long sleeves will help protect you from bites.
