Nito is hands down one of the best tour guides out there! I was only able to spend a couple days in Corcovado, yet I got to see almost every animal I wanted to see. I say spider monkeys, capuchin monkeys, tapirs, anteaters, coatimundi just to name a few. I saw more birds than I have ever seen in my life and Nito seemed to know every one of them! I had an absolutely amazing time in Corcovado and I know I wouldnt have seen nearly as many animals, plants and beautiful vistas if it weren't for Nito as my guide. He really is an awesome person and if you only spend a couple days with him you will see everything that makes costa rica amazing and also leave knowing you have made a great friend.

I will be back as soon as I can get time off from work and I look forward to spending a longer time in Corcovado. It truly is unique and amazing place.

I highly recommend Nito and sucuros tours to anyone travelling in Costa Rica, you will not regret it!!!

Your expert knowledge and absolute enthusiasm for all things wild and living was very infectious and made this adventure a lifelong memory for me. Your confidence and obvious knowledge of the the trails and the area around the Sirena ranger station made me feel very safe -- and I knew you knew what you were doing. This was something I had wanted to do for a long time, and you made the experience perfect.

You KNOW I will be back -- probably sooner rather than later -- and I cannot wait! There is something utterly addictive about the Osa Peninsula and Corcovado National Park -- I just can't stay away. It truly does seem like paradise on Earth.

Thanks very much for your hospitality during my trip to the Oso Peninsula. It was the highlight of my entire trip to Costa Rica.

My partner and I spent 6 weeks travelling through Central America in summer, 2010. We had an amazing time in all of the countries we visited, and one of the highlights was definitely the hike we did through Corcovado with Nito. We did a 3 day hike, spending our first night at Los Patos ranger station and our second night at Sirena ranger station. Despite it being the wet season, and despite a few blisters, the hike was amazing. Nito is truly an amazing guide! He also has a hidden talent for photography, so bring your camera!!!

Until spring this year I did a round the world trip for several months and one of the countries I visited was Costa Rica. The tour I did there with Nito (Dionisio Paniagua) was one of the most impressive wildlife experiences I had on the whole trip. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to do a multiple day hike into Corcovado NP, but instead took a half-day birding tour near Puerto Jiménez. This was still so worth it! Nito knew everything and I have never seen so many different bird species before in just a few hours (not to mention the different species of monkeys ;-)). Nito is such a nice guy, after the tour he invited me and my girlfriend for lunch in his house and even went birding with us again in the evening for free! I hope I can come back and take a longer tour with him.
